  • One-click activation & Google sign-in (v0.7) “Open in Auctor” activates your licence automatically, and a free beta key is two clicks away with Google.
  • Writers' community Genre boards, craft discussion, and a feedback board the developers read — free to read, free account to post.
  • AuctorNotes sync & AI transparency (v0.6) Voice notes sorted into your story world automatically, and every AI-touched passage tracked with a disclosure report.

Next release

  • Linux build of v0.7 The Windows release is out; the Linux AppImage follows shortly.
  • Community template sharing Publish and browse story templates from other writers, right in the app.
  • Hero demo video A short in-page demo of drafting and refining with the AI editor.

  • Sign-in licensing Activate by signing into your account inside Auctor — no key at all.
  • Optional encrypted backup Local-first stays the default; an opt-in encrypted backup of your project folder is under consideration.
