The Auctor AI Server app lets you run a local large language model directly on your Android phone. Once running, the app exposes a local HTTP server that Auctor on your desktop can connect to — giving you fully private, offline AI assistance with no cloud service required.
This is ideal if you want to keep your writing completely private, work without an internet connection, or avoid relying on a third-party AI provider. Your phone and desktop just need to be on the same local network.
Point Auctor to your phone's local address in Project Settings → AI and select Local Server as the provider.
